10th grade! Our 7th year of homeschooling! I truly hope that with this blog I will document our school year in a fun and creative way. We are an eclectic school sometimes conventional often not. We learn, play, grow, experience life. True education.

Lesson#7 (From July) Yoga Camp
Yoga camp for 10-14 year olds. This was held at the studio I teach at with friend/owner Jenny Watkins, at Nourish Yoga Community. After seeing how much fun they had, I really want to do an adult yoga camp! At first Evie was like, " I am really busy, I don't know about yoga camp...." She had sooooo much fun! She didn't want Yoga Camp to end, like ever. Some of the things they did besides obviously do yoga; breath work, meditation, art! including painting the chakras, making homemade Mala beads out of paper, learn about the yamas and niyamas, and create designs with henna on each other. Aside from helping with the henna I just stayed away and let her have her own experience. We do so many awesome things together, and I love that, but sometimes when your homeschooled it's nice to get picked up from an outing/experience and to get to share that with your parents. It's good for her and I like it too!
